Tree Spinach (Chenopodium Giganteum)

£4.00

A lesser known alternative to its Amaranthian cousin, tree spinach is fast growing, doesn't care about soil quality, is drought resistant and it looks ever so pretty in the garden and on the plate. Calcium oxalate crystals are deposited on the surface of leaves to give them a unique metallic sparkle that fades with maturity.

Can be cooked and used in place of spinach in any dish, this is a must have for the uncertain future, with higher yields from this 2m tall behemoth!
